I have tested several alcohol during 3 years to see whether alcohol could kill candida. I have tried the following: Vodka, Whisky, Cognac, Rhum, White wine, red wine, Champagne, pineau & Beer
I have bought one bottle of each alcohol and added water to it. I never went to the point where i was drunk. I always stopped before. It is difficult to quantify but i have drink several glasses of them on empty stomach to see what it was doing.
Drinking alcohol added the exact same feeling of fogginess i was experiencing all the time with candida infection.
The strongest effect was on the day after drinking alcohol. I had my nose sneezing. The chronic fatigue was more intense when i woke up.
I want to pinpoint that the effects on my body were the same whatever the alcohol. I could drink more wine than whisky but the results were always the same whatever the alcohol.
I concluded there were no good & bad alcohol. All alcohol were the same.
Results in the mid-term:
During those last 3 years, i have drunk alcohol & stopped intermittently in order to see whether it helped or not. It was at the beginning very difficult to determine because you don’t know which quantity of fogginess is related to your candidiasis & which quantity is caused by alcohol intake. After some times, i have understood that alcohol at least didn’t help to kill candida. Alcohol didn’t cure my candida infection.
It gives a fake impression of doing something because of the outcome on the day after drinking alcohol. In the mid-term, alcohol did not help to recover from Candida whatever the alcohol type.
Results in the long-term:
After witnessing that alcohol didn’t help me to kill candida, i am convinced that alcohol slowed down candida recovery. It just added an unsolicited additional pressure on my liver. Then, i have done blood test results. I have discovered i had high levels of ast, alt & ggt.In other words, alcohol damaged the filtering function of my liver. So, the regular intake of alcohol were bad for my liver even if i only two no more that 4 glasses of wine everyday most of the time.
After that, i think that alcohol is very dangerous for candida sufferer. Even after drinking small amount of alcohol regularly it attacked the filtering function of my liver. There were no other options than STOPPING alcohol.
2 months after stopping alcohol my health started to getting stable. Then, 3 months after stopping i started to see benefits. I am convinced that if i would have drunk since a long time it would have taken more time to see a benefit in stopping alcohol.
That’s not the only thing i have discovered:
After stopping alcohol, i have kept on going to eat garlic, echinacea, Milk thistle pills. I have drunk green tea (bancha), colloidal silver, silicium g5… After stopping alcohol, the effect wasn’t the same. In fact, while drinking alcohol (even small amounts of it) all the antifungals (diflucan included) had no effects on my body. After stopping alcohol, i had strong die-off again after eating or drinking antifungals so that i had to diminish the doses of garlic pills. it gave me headaches, dizziness & i was even more tired than before.
To me, Alcohol stops the effect of all of antifungals. in fact, it stops recovery from candida infection.
Also, after stopping alcohol, i felt more tired for 3 months than before. On the other hand, at the same time, symptoms vanished for good (diarrheas, sore gums, hypersensitive skin, stomach pain).
I also felt panic attacks during the night & my urine smelled ammoniac. This really only happened when i stopped alcohol. I do think it was really related to real die-off.
No “good” alcohol exist. I have tried numerous times red wines & white wines since it is said to contain strong antioxidants. Unfortunately, i don’t think wine or any other alcohol types can help to cure candida infection. By the way, my uncle pinpointed that we can find wine antioxidants such as polyphenols in green teas.
No exception: I have understood that even drinking alcohol occasionally (birthday, family reunion, fridays with co-workers) had a bad impact on my health. There is no other options than stopping alcohol.
Alcohol didn’t kill Candida & didn’t help me to cure candida infection. Also, it damaged my liver filter function even if i didn’t drink a lot. I have then discovered that alcohol helped the candida overgrowth.
In the western world, you may think that stopping alcohol will make you asocial. I have to say something about it. The health of your body is the priority number one in your life. We live once. Think about your body health first.
