Synergy of fluconazole (diflucan) and garlic

on March 11, 2012

A research found that garlic had a synergetic effect if added to fluconazole (diflucan)

There are perhaps other possible synergetic effects. I am wondering if Apple cider vinegar has a synergetic effect for instance.  In my own experience, ketoconazole + garlic was more efficient than diflucan + garlic. Nevertheless, i discovered i took 50mg less diflucan than ketoconazole.

I must say i tried a kind of tritherapy by taking fluconazole (150mg), ketoconazole(200*2),Lamisil(200mg) and garlic. I noticed strong die-off. If i would not have taken garlic, die-off effect would have been less. I am convinced this synergetic effect is like a booster for recovery. It also helps to avoid taking large amount of anti fungal. Effect is strong by getting small amount of antifungals every day for a long period of time. It is better than taking a large amount of anti fungal for a short period of time. According to some MD’s, Candidiasis recovery is quick. I spent already several years feeling exactly what is described as the herxheimer reaction (die-off reaction)
